The beautiful Lions Tigers & Bears ranch is located just outside of Alpine, California in sunny San Diego County. The ranch is 93 acres in size. There is a volunteer office, picnic area, barn, farm animal encounter area and the habitats for our rescued big cats. Part of the barn serves as an onsite medical care center which allows us to perform routine medical exams and minor surgeries without transporting the cats.

Lions Tigers & Bears can always use your help!

At Lions Tigers & Bears our primary purpose is the security and comfort of our animals. To this end volunteers help across the organization to accomplish this goal. Be it working on a mailing for an upcoming fundraiser or building a fence there is no task that is any more or less important if the result helps our rescued cats. All of our volunteer duties require extra effort and the dedication on the part of those who are willing. Your desire to help is greatly appreciated!

To volunteer you must:

1. Complete a Volunteer Application
2. Read and understand the LTB Safety Guidelines
3. Read, Agree, and Sign the Release and Waiver of Liability form
4. Write a short paragraph describing why you would like to volunteer at LTB (other than a love of animals)
