One of our major goals at Lions, Tigers & Bears is to build an exercise area for our tigers and lions. It will be connected to the existing cat enclosure areas by enclosed archways, making for easy and safe access.
The play area will give each of our big cats the chance to run and play and make their life at LTB as comfortable and stimulating as possible. Safety is an essential part of our design and all guidelines will be followed to assure a safe environment, while providing the cats an enriched life filled with waterfalls, pools, and plenty of room to run (something that Raja and Natasha have never been able to do).
This is our biggest and most important goal ever. The estimated cost to build the enclosure is $250,000, which will require an astronomical fundraising feat, to say the least. However, we believe that people such as you will contribute to ensure our beloved cats have an adequate and much deserved exercise area.
