World Animal Day & Blessing of the Animals

Friday, October 4th @ 10 AM

In celebration of World Animal Day and the the feast day of Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals, we will be hosting a Blessing of the Animals during our 10 AM Educational Visit on Friday, October 4th.  Father Jason Samuels of Christ the King Episcopal Church in Alpine, will be leading the Blessing during this special visit..

Since all of our animals are rescues, we celebrate their birthday on the day they first arrived to our sanctuary. Come wish Meatball a Happy Bear-day and learn about Meatball's story and why it is so important for everyone to help keep wildlife wild.

Join us on Saturday, July 27th during our 10 AM visit. Come see how much Moka has grown and watch him open his birthday presents. Moka's birthday coincides with International Tiger Day, which is a great time to learn about tigers like Moka and how you can help protect them.
